The fourth transnational project meeting was hosted by the partner Coming Computer Engineering in Nis, Serbia, and brought together a total of 11 participants.

The main elements discussed during the fourth transnational meeting are regarding the general management of the project where the timesheets were evaluated and the certificates of link between the partners institution were developed. Furthermore, the contracts of time and cost were reviewed for the period September 2020 - December 2020.

Another key component reviewed during the TPM was the actual state of the Intellectual Outputs and the further planning of the development of IOs.

The third transnational project meeting was hosted by the Slovak University of Technology, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava, and brought together a total of 8 online participants.

The main elements discussed during the third transnational meeting are regarding the general management of the project where the timesheets were evaluated and the certificates of link between the partners institution were developed. Furthermore, the contracts of time and cost were reviewed for the period September 2019 - September 2020.

Another key component reviewed during the TPM was the actual state of the Intellectual Outputs and the further planning of the development of IOs.

The second transnational project meeting was hosted by the Polytechnic University from Timișoara, and brought together a total of 13 participants.

After making the introductions and detailing management information the format and language of the results were discussed, cooperative tools employed, validation of the tasks and issues with staff training, institution communications, etc. Each partner shared their experience in mechatronics and Industry 4.0 implementation, after which the possibilities of project implementation was assessed and various projects thematics for students were proposed.

M1 Transnational Meeting

The first transnational project meeting was hosted by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, and brought together a total of 14 participants.

The tasks were presented in detail, starting with Information from the Erasmus National Agency, Contracts and annexes and project management  information,  such  as  the  eligibility  of  the  personnel  involved  in  the  project (employment issues) and the collection of activity reports by the coordinator : organization and calendar (worksheets), also the use of mobility tools to generate the premises for the positive achievement of the intellectual results of the project, the role of the leaders of the intellectual results, tools (Dropbox, WhatsApp group, Trello), validation of the distribution of tasks  -  each partner will present the plan for each activity he has, these topics were part of the first part of the meetings.

The Multiplier Event (E4) organised by the Romanian partner IntegraHR and facilitated by TUCN was held on 12th August 2021 at DoubleTree by Hilton Cluj - City Plaza, Ballroom Hall, to present the results of the intellectual outputs of MIND project to an invited audience composed of industry experts affiliated to regional companies and academic staff.

The purposes of the event were:

  1. Explanation of the basic concepts of Industry 4.0 and why a new mechatronics curriculum is needed.
  2. Dissemination of the results obtained in IO4.
  3. Dissemination of the results obtained in IO5.
  4. Building new connections with firm’s representative in order to have their point of view abut students’ preparation in the context of Industry 4.0.

A total attendance of E4 was 36 persons from various companies and institutions: PSC Automatizări și Instalații, Lerntech, Hardwired, Electrogrup, BLA SHINE SRL, Ulma Packaging, Fortech, CoachCompanion Romania, Baumann Automation.

The Multiplier Event (E3) organised by the Serbian partner COMING and facilitated by UNI was held on 17th August 2021 at Science Technological Park, NIš to present the results of the intellectual outputs of MIND project to an invited audience composed of industry experts affiliated mainly to regional companies.

The purposes of the event were:

  1. Explanation of the basic concepts of Industry 4.0 and why a new mechatronics curriculum is needed.
  2. Dissemination of the results obtained in IO6.
  3. Building new connections with firm’s representative in order to have their point of view abut students’ preparation in the context of Industry 4.0.

A total attendance of E3 was 52 persons from various companies and institutions: Telekom Srbija, JKP Medijana, JP Direkcija za javni prevoz, JP Gradska toplana, Fakultet umetnosti, Prirodno-matematički fakultet Niš, JP Železnice Srbije, Gradska uprava Grada Niša, Informatika AD etc.

The event was organized for presenting the results of the intellectual outputs of MIND project to an invited audience composed of industry experts affiliated mainly to regional companies.

The Multiplier event (E1) was scheduled for March 2020. According to the recommendation of the National Erasmus Agency, due to pandemic and restrictions imposed with it, the event was postponed. It was rescheduled for 25th February 2021. It was organised by the Romanian partner University Politehnica Timisoara and was held as an online event. The main target of the event was the dissemination of results obtained in the IOs of the project.

The purposes of the event were:

  1. Presentation of Project MIND. Mechatronics competences and skills and innovative learning methods for Industry 4.0.
  2. Presentation of the results of Intellectual Output IO-1 MIND
  3. Presentation of the results of Intellectual Output IO-2 MIND
  4. Presentation of the results of Intellectual Output IO-3 MIND.

Lecture: Implementation of new manufacturing technologies and systems for Industry 4.0.

A total attendance of E1 was 114 persons from various companies and institutions: Contitech, Mitsubishi Electric, Honeywell, Heraeus Romania, Robsol, Hamilton Central Europe, Kromberg & Schubert, Continental, Continental Automotive etc.

The short-term joint staff training event (C1) organised by the Serbian partner UNI was held from 25th to 28th August 2021 at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering University of Niš. At this training event, 15 teachers from 3 MIND University partners were involved (UTCN, UPT, UNI). MIND University partner from Slovakia, STU was unable to send teachers to this event due to COVID 19 restrictions for travelling abroad.

The main objective of C1 short-term joint staff training event was to put in action and test 2 learning modules, one per each day and how to apply new modules lessons to the classes. In addition, UNI teachers from Department of Mechatronics and Control of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering have presented new accredited modules related to acquiring Industry 4.0 in Mechatronics. This process of introducing new modules related to Industry 4.0 in UNI Mechatronics M.Sc. and B.Sc. programs, is one of the most important results of MIND project.

During three days of training, two learning modules of curricula have been presented to the teachers. Throughout the training, professors were able to provide feedback on the modules and to add content based on previously acquired experiences.
